Hilton London Paddington Hotel Review: Originally built in 1854 and once known as The Great Western Royal Hotel, this Hilton makes up part of the Paddington Station complex in central London and is connected to the station by a footbridge. The hotel exterior is elegant, inviting and in impeccable condition, as are the interiors. The rooms are done in a toned-down version of Art Deco style, with large opening windows, easy chairs and spacious marble bathrooms. The lavish executive suites can be booked for a small upgrade fee and feature massive flat screen plasma TVs, large terraces with outstanding views over all of London and fabulous separate showers with designer toiletries. At the Steam Bar, you can pick up a lunchtime sushi bento box. Otherwise, next door, the Scotch Steak House serves lovely sit-down meals. The hotel offers wireless Internet access throughout.
