Rosewood London Hotel Review: Housed in a Grade II listed building, just a few steps from Holborn station, this imposing hotel plays host to corporate guests and many in the legal profession, due to its proximity to the law courts around the corner. A bronze-gated carriageway leading to an inner courtyard sets the grand tone of the property. But far from stuffy, the hotel is instead extremely sophisticated and at the same time family-friendly. From the lavish lobby decked out in mahogany, marble and crystal, the grand Pavonazzo marble staircase leads up to 252 plush rooms and 44 suites, all in a comfy, dignified style. Bathrooms are fitted with twin sinks, and most rooms come with a separate shower and bathtub with spray jets. Five suites can be combined to create the Grand Manor House Wing, with its own private entrance and elevator. Though the hotel is within walking distance of Covent Garden’s hundreds of restaurants, take advantage of the clubby-chic Holborn Dining Room, serving British classics. Additional on-site facilities include Sense Spa and meeting/event spaces that range from historic boardrooms to a Grand Ballroom.
