When travelers hear the word "Ritz," no matter where they are in the world, they know they can expect understated sophistication and excellent service. In Marina del Rey, guests are treated to the added indulgence of a casual-chic, marina-front setting. It’s no wonder this deluxe bunkhouse is one of the most popular locations for meetings, events and conferences in L.A. One of only a handful of Ritz-Carltons in California, this high-rise in 2006 completed an $8 million renovation of its 304 guest rooms and suites, corridors and club lounge. The modernized rooms, furnished with tasteful art and private balconies with city and marina views, now include 32-inch LCD screen televisions. Two key-access-only floors that are dedicated to the hotel's exclusive Club rooms come with lots of cushy extras. The hotel's signature restaurant, Jer-Né, serves well-executed California cuisine. Weddings are a specialty and are hosted in the beautiful banquet rooms. An elegant boutique spa has been recently completed. You’ll be hard pressed to find something the staff doesn’t do well, from pressing suits with style to mixing a perfect martini for consumption on the teak wood deck. |
