Le Saint-Sulpice Hotel Review: Located in the shadows of one of Montreal's great churches, the Notre Dame Basilica, and steps from downtown, you'll find this new-world take on old-world tradition. Elegance and sophistication are omnipresent when entering the hotel’s lobby. Subtle lighting, wood accents and leather furnishings add an air of warmth to the decidedly un-stuffy first floor. The 108 suite-style accommodations range from spacious 550-square-foot layouts to massive 1,500-square-foot offerings. The suites are divided into three categories: the loft-style Superior suites, the slightly bigger Deluxe rooms, and the fireplace and balcony equipped Executive rooms. Warmth and comfort are what drive the design and décor of the suites. Soft lighting, ample wood accents and just the right color scheme provide a distinct cozy feel. The hotel, of course, is full of amenities. Besides offering wireless Internet and 24-hour room service, the hotel’s full-time concierge is on call to book theater tickets or helicopter rides to the slopes of nearby Mont Tremblant. Le Saint-Sulpice is also home to the full-size Essence Health Center, complete with personal trainers and Swedish massage. Adjoining the hotel is S Le Restaurant and S Bar and Lounge featuring European-inspired fare with a Quebec influence.
