Seven One Seven Hotel Review: At Seven One Seven, guests staying in the nineteenth-century canal-side building can enjoy a pleasantly homey atmosphere and services catering to the need for privacy and comfort. The elegant foyer features impressive marble floors and a solid oak staircase leading to two executive suites with breathtaking views of the Prinsengracht Canal. Each of the nine rooms and suites features both modern and antique décor, Bang & Olufsen DVD players, stereos with CD players, wireless Internet, a mini-bar, an in-room safe and stationery. All but three rooms have a bathtub with shower. In accordance with a comfort-achieving “all-in” formula, Seven One Seven's rates include breakfast, afternoon tea, drinks from a refreshment cabinet and glasses of house wine. Though there is no fitness center on-site, discount cards are available at the front desk for Splash, a facility within walking distance. Guests can, however, book in-room massages and beauty and holistic therapies, which are offered exclusively to Seven One Seven guests by Ken Tui massage practice. The hotel has hosted countless meetings, events and weddings, and its Strawinsky Room and Library can accommodate sixteen and six guests, respectively.
