 A peek into the trendy on-site restaurant, Dragonfish Asian Café, provides the first clue that this is a happening place to stay. The cool art deco building attracts a hip, youngish clientele, and as if made to order, the movie theater across the street shows indie films. The staff here takes pride in its individualized service, which reflects the hotel's independent spirit. The spacious rooms have all the expected conveniences, while Paramount Class and Grand Suite accommodations add to the comfort with extras such as large terraces, jetted tubs and fireplaces. Style-wise, the décor nicely blends hip (zebra striped fabrics) with traditional (dark wood furnishings). There are two function rooms for meetings and events up to 60. Overall, this fresh-faced, homey hotel is one of the best values in its high-rent downtown neighborhood, just a few blocks from Pioneer Square. |
