Located on the south side of downtown, this property is an impressive sight, both inside and out. A nine-story elevator ride ferries you to the front desk, where you'll find two remarkable six-story atriums filled with tropical plants. The hotel attracts a wide range of guests, from sports fans going to events at the Dome to businesspeople looking for a long-term (but not unbearably expensive) place to stay. The suites face the atrium and are designed for comfort and ease. In particular, the Hollywood Suites offer galley kitchens, wet bars and living rooms. Executive travelers are happy with the two phones, voice mail, teleconferencing and modems. Getting around the building is easy, since most of the public areas are located on the atrium level, including the bar, lobby and swimming pool. It's here that you'll also find Cornell's Restaurant, which serves a wide selection in local and regional specialties.
