| Although this property is often listed as an airport motel, that label is somewhat of a misnomer, thanks to the relocation of the runways. Today this property lies 10 miles (or about a 20-minute drive) from the relocated Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Rooms here are basic, with burgundy and green accents. Most include a microwave and refrigerator. Guests can end a hot Texas day with a dip in the outdoor pool, although they’ll probably find themselves in the company of a few youngsters. Children 18 and under stay free with their parents. The motel offers a complimentary continental breakfast, and the area is home to several good restaurants. Pappadeaux, Pappasitos, International House of Pancakes and many others are within a few minutes driving distance. |
