| This property is a real plus for sightseers on a budget. The Smithsonian's most popular attraction---the Air and Space Museum---is located one block from the property. The Metro, Washington's underground subway, is just minutes away as well. City tour buses often stop right out front, making this hotel an ideal base. Décor in the rooms is dark in tone and fairly generic. Still, accommodations are spacious with larger-than-average TVs and video games for the junior set. Amenities include data ports and voice mail. The pool is on the rooftop, which offers excellent views of the Capitol as well as welcome refreshment during the sweltering summer months. A small fitness center is located on-site.
