| This monument to Art Deco on Sunset Strip has a fascinating past: It began as the Sunset Towers in 1931, home to such luminaries as Jean Harlow, Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe. Though on the small side, guest rooms have two-line telephones, great views and some have sexy gondola beds.
