| The former Nevada Club was given a $50-million Golden Nugget makeover in 1986. The property also expanded to 300 tropically themed bedrooms and one-bedroom Paradise Suites with river, pool or courtyard views. Waterfalls, palm trees and songbirds now greet guests entering this tropical-style resort. The spectacular, 30-foot glass atrium offers the look and feel of a rain forest. Adjacent Tarzan's Lounge echoes jungle sounds, and the jungle-themed Jane's Grill adds to the ambience. Somewhat out of context, the sidewalk setting of The Buffet was inspired by cafés on the Seine River in Paris. The Deck offers indoor and outdoor dining on the river to the sounds of an acoustic guitarist. The beautifully landscaped pool and spa also overlook the river. You can dance the night away in Tarzan's Nightclub or host a special event in a number of the restaurants. Summer packages include riverboat cruises, golf getaways and jet boat excursions to London Bridge in nearby Lake Havasu. |
