 This handsome $100-million property opened in January 2003. It replicates a cannery/factory with pin-up memorabilia and a 120-foot-tall smoke stack emblazoned with its name in bright red. The attention to detail includes door knobs at the casino's entrances that are fashioned from tin cans. The 201 pleasantly decorated guestrooms feature quilted bedspreads and bathrooms with spacious marble sink areas. The comfortable Pin-ups Lounge is the centerpiece of the lattice-ceilinged, 50,000-square-foot casino. Victory's Booze & Bets sports book is a popular retreat for sports fans. Dining here is excellent with the outstanding Waverly's Steakhouse and the Cannery Row Buffet that attracts not only neighborhood locals but also visitors staying on the Strip twelve miles away. Twenty-four hour room service is available from the Victory's Café menu. The Club, a 27,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor party/meeting/wedding venue, opens out to the pool area. Room rates can soar on major Nascar race weekends at the nearby Las Vegas Motor Speedway. A $40 million expansion will phase in a parking garage, 14-screen movie theater and food court, as well as enlarge the casino. |
