 Taking the hostel concept and cleaning it up, this property removes the rowdiness and adds privacy and a little style. Midtown is hardly where you'd expect to find gatherings of students and budget-minded tourists, but this place draws them in. What you give up in room-size you gain in value. This is sort of a poor-man's W hotel, or an ultra-hip monastery. All 200 rooms are decorated in a modern style using natural hues and earthy textures. They are nicely equipped with telephones with voice mail and Internet access, as well as color cable TV.
