If you don’t mind run-of-the-mill furnishings, you’ll appreciate this hotel’s low rates and prime location. This is a big, somewhat anonymous property with a nondescript lobby and some tourist-oriented amenities (including two gift shops and a coffee shop). But it serves its purpose in providing well-priced accommodations and a 24-hour business center for groups of out-of-towners. The 500 rooms are clean and well-maintained, with high speed Internet access and ample closet space. Some have kitchenettes, while others are simply standard. The upper-level tower rooms offer better amenities at (predictably) higher rates. Warning: Tour groups and clothing buyers lugging their sample bags choke the lobby day and night, so checkout can take some time. The famed Greek restaurant, Molyvos, calls this hotel home as does the Park Café. Room service is available until midnight. |
