 This European-style inn is in a great location in the Flatiron District. It is within walking distance to Greenwich Village, the Empire State Building and Fifth Avenue shops. Occupying a townhouse building, the property has the feeling of a giant apartment. The hallways are narrow, and the stairs creak as guests ascend to their rooms for the night. These, by the way, are good things. The rooms are small but cheerfully decorated with antique furniture and colorful bedspreads and curtains---a country home décor that makes this place special. The bathrooms boast fun murals painted by local college students. In terms of amenities you can expect cable TV, coffee makers, refrigerators, in-room safes and other basics. |
