 Despite the name, there is not a courtyard in sight. But that’s okay. Situated on the east side of Midtown, this tall, black functionalist tower is nicely located for business and leisure travelers. Rockefeller Center, Penn Station, Radio City Music Hall and Times Square are just blocks away. The hotel offers plenty of services including a knowledgeable concierge desk, laundry facilities, valet service and a small fitness center. The newly-renovated rooms boast floor-to-ceiling views and high-speed Internet if you’d prefer to engage in virtual life over the real thing outside. Rooms are comfortably furnished and come with the usual amenities such as cable TV, hair dryers and safe deposit boxes. Some rooms have nice views of city landmarks.
