 Situated in the heart of the Fifth Avenue shopping district, this narrow 14-story hotel is filled with more than 500 pieces of original art. It's also a great place to spot visiting celebrities. The minimalist-designed lobby is seemingly inspired by Japanese architecture and boasts a fireplace, low-rise seats and a balustrade. Each floor was designed by a different artist, and the rooms were inspired by artists' lofts. They have soaring ceilings and a minimum of four original art works each. Suites have terraces that afford fantastic views of the city's skyline. Guests enjoy luxurious bed linens, Frette bathrobes and Bumble & Bumble suds. They also receive complimentary passes to the New York Sports Club.
