Hôtel Fouquet's Barrière Paris Hotel Review

: Just around the corner from Les Champs-Élysées on Avenue George V, the Hôtel Fouquet’s Barrière is a luxurious urban retreat. This resplendent hotel was designed to attract a ritzy and hip clientele. Architect Édouard François did a remarkable job uniting five Haussmann buildings to create this elegant enclave. The 81 guest rooms including 31 suites, done by Jacques Garcia in a flashy palette of earth tones, resonate with a sense of posh intimacy. Cutting edge technology includes flat-screen televisions and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi. The basement spa, called U for “unique,” offers treatments whose themes are taken from the four elements: air, water, earth and light. The facility also features a pool, fitness room, sauna, hammam and exercise pool. Guests can enjoy a house cocktail or glass of Champagne at Bar Le Lucien or at L'Escadrille, and then savor French cuisine prepared by chef Jean-Yves Leuranguer at the gastronomic restaurant Le Diane or at the brasserie Le Fouquet's.
