| This much-improved Radisson is well-situated across the street from East Beach and the Cabrillo Pavilion. If the ocean's too cold for you, there's a glass-enclosed pool and a heated spa with a view of the coast. Most rooms come with a Pacific view, and some even have balconies or patios. Their décor is very subdued with a cream and pastel color scheme highlighted by quiet floral fabrics. Basics include coffee makers and hairdryers; as well, there are extras such as refrigerators and bathrobes. Seven meeting rooms accommodate up to 250 people, and some come with ocean views. The hotel has an okay restaurant, and you can stroll across the street to the Pavilion's East Beach Grill (see Restaurants) for an al-fresco short-order meal within feet of sand and surf. You're also within easy walking distance to many beach area attractions, such as the Zoo, Bird Refuge and Chase Palm Park. |
