| This hotel was built in 1912 and is suited to budget travel. A central location makes it appealing to out-of-town visitors, although travelers should take note that the neighborhood is home to many homeless people and panhandlers, especially at night. Most of the guests are backpackers and the like from Europe and Japan. The 180 rooms are simply furnished, offering standard amenities that range from clock radios to TVs. Some rooms come with private baths, and some are available for non-smokers. The front desk is open 24 hours, and complimentary donuts and coffee are served in the lobby each morning. |
