| This building was constructed as a Turkish bathhouse in 1905 and managed to survive San Francisco's historic 1906 earthquake and fire. In 1981, Harry Andrews purchased the property and thrust it into the limelight with the FINO Bar & Ristorante. The hotel offers just 48 rooms, which allows the staff to focus on attentive, personalized service. The lobby is filled with light and has a cozy lounge, where fresh-brewed coffee and tea are served. Décor in the rooms might remind you of a European country inn, and fresh flowers are among the indulgences you'll find. Following a second renovation, FINO offers fireplace seating. This finishing touch provides a welcoming note to the complimentary wine served to guests here each evening. |
