Chef Eric Ripert is the creative force behind 10 Arts, across from City Hall. Ripert has conceived a fetching, New American menu, with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients, swanky comfort food, creative cocktails and an approachable wine list (chef de cuisine Jennifer Carroll has departed the restaurant). Slurp oysters, and savor the seared foie gras with arugula, duck prosciutto and white bean ragoût. Move on to the poached Loch Duart salmon with artichokes and citrus emulsion. There's also a decadent mac ‘n’ cheese and a brasserie-worthy grilled flatiron steak. Pork and beans uses none other than pork belly, and chicken is stuffed with country bread taking on a comfort food feel. Make sure you don't fill up on the pretzels (easy to do). Ripert's version of a Philly favorite are delivered fluffy, salty, soft and warm with jalapeño jam and Dijon mustard. The lobby restaurant’s colorful, modern holographic columns strike a dramatic note within the former bank’s lofty space.
