THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED 20 Mott Street Restaurant Restaurant Review:
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Chinese waitresses circle the floors of this three-tiered restaurant ablaze with bright lights and mirrors, pushing trolleys packed with inviting dishes. Some offerings are familiar, such as spring rolls or wonton soup. Be on the lookout for golden-fried crab claws, but skip the steamed beef. The food---be it dim sum or the more elaborate fare off the regular menu---is satisfying and arrives promptly. The lightly battered fried oysters reflect the kitchen's mastery of the ancient salt-cooking technique. Other best bets: shrimp in the shell, the seafood basket and black fish with black-pepper sauce.
