That 211 York is still going strong since it opened in 1999 is a testament to chef-owner Timothy Papa’s sprightly cuisine. An alum of the Le Bec-Fin kitchen, Papa stresses seasonal fare, with such dishes as his hallmark mushroom soup, "glorious" Caesar salad with bacon and egg, and roast duck with honey vinegar sauce. The dessert list is short and sweet, and includes a first-rate house-made chocolate mousse.
