THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED 50 Plates Restaurant Review

: Take a culinary road trip at this all-American restaurant and explore the U.S.A.’s diverse food heritage. Start with a Navajo fry bread taco salad, dive into the Oregon shrimp Louis, or savor the “Knuckle Sandwich” made with Maine lobster salad. For an entrée, choose a corn Johnnycake, a plate of Great Lakes walleye, or a bowl of zesty Fisherman’s Wharf cioppino. Desserts are traditional as well, with a changing array of pies and oversize cakes. Despite the somewhat kitschy menu, the restaurant’s design is sleek and contemporary with comfortable outdoor seating on a raised and covered sidewalk. Enjoy the lively bar scene, where you'll find a range of cocktails designed to accompany the eclectic food. When happy hour arrives, it's one of Portland's favorite spots.
