THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED 80 West Restaurant Review: This seafood grill, with its beautifully appointed dining room, pays homage to the elegant hotel it occupies. With a breakfast buffet, an appealing lunch menu and well-executed dinner selections from chef Jean-Claude Lanchais, 80 West caters to a diverse and discriminating clientele at virtually any time of the day. Starters include chicken avanosa scallopine with eggplant, heirloom tomatoes and Chardonnay sauce, and a charcuterie platter of turkey galantine, duck à l’orange pâté, dry salami and smoked ham shoulder. Among mains, one might encounter ginger-stuffed red snapper with sautéed sunchokes and rice in a red pepper purée, and three citrus grilled swordfish with celery purée, asparagus and lime butter.
