ABaC Restaurant Restaurant Review:

Nestled away in Barcelona’s exclusive Zona Alta neighborhood, this hotel restaurant is a zen-like haven of elegant lighting, landscaped gardens and neutral tones. The 14- or 21-course tasting menus offer an experimental array of innovative flavors and fusion cuisine, perfect for serious eaters and delivered by chef Jordi Cruz. Essential dishes include the lulo ceviche with oyster and pisco sour; spider crab and caviar with rambutan-infused chilli oil; and Parmesan gnocchi served with wild mushrooms, citronella and truffle. A vast wine cellar holds some 1,000 references, with the finest vintages from both local bodegas and international vineyards. Optional wine pairing menus are available to accompany and accentuate the tasting menus. Be sure to anticipate the dulce delights. Signature dishes include tonic bubbles with mango, candied lemon and juniper, and white chocolate with citrus fruits. We also like the meringue and yuzu cupcakes.
