THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Aden Restaurant Review: This is a personal Eden for the family Nisimi---owner Hadar, sister Nurit, and various relatives who have made this restaurant a reality. The mosaic-trimmed stone walls and fanciful murals enclose an intimate, happy atmosphere, and fresh Mediterranean cooking. Hadar is an Israeli, from Yemen, and we would wish that there were more Israeli dishes on the menu. As for now, we'll make do with the delicious eggplant dip that accompanies the bread, and the large, varied antipasto platter. The osso buco on a bed of creamy barley is superb, and roast codfish is handled expertly, as well. Desserts are, for now, frozen sorbets and a good tiramisu. Bring wine and cash, and let the Nisimis entertain you.
