The Admiralty’s large plate-glass windows overlook Lake Mendota, ensuring a romantic experience---especially at sunset. Start with the signature Edgewater Bookbinder soup, bearing red snapper, celery, onions and peppers within a hearty stock, or go for the baked chèvre with herbs. Accordingly, we find the best entrées incorporate artisan cheeses. We especially like the herb and ricotta-stuffed pork tenderloin with Parmesan potato croquettes and the beef tenderloin swathed in blue cheese. The buffet Sunday brunch is loaded with breakfast staples, as well as a sneak peek of offerings from the lunch and dinner menus. |
