: When The Peninsula New York was refurbished from top to bottom, the hotel’s upscale restaurant got an Upper East Side-worthy facelift. In this serene window-wrapped perch overlooking Fifth Avenue, guests enjoy sitting in comfy, oversized chairs at big, handsomely set tables. Power breakfast set can order the same delicious, fruit-studded muesli that is served in the Peninsula Hong Kong and Beverly Hills, or any manner of omelet (with or without egg yolks). Executive chef Oliver Dudler relies on organic and locally farmed ingredients for his modern French dishes which are simply, but expertly prepared. Even sauces are standouts since Dudler makes them by reducing fresh vegetables, broth and seasonings to pure concentrates. At Adrienne, the service is Peninsula perfect, and the wine list is exemplary.
