THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Agata & Valentina Ristorante Restaurant Review:
Chef Joseph Brancaccio delivers prized family recipes at this Italian restaurant. The modern and brightly colored interior is just as surprising as some of the preparations; shrimp with wild arugula and pink grapefruit, and ricotta gelato with olive oil and figs woo appetites, preparing palettes for forthcoming dishes. A variety of paninis are grilled to order and served with a salad. The uova e carciofi panini, egg salad infused with grilled artichoke hearts, is velvety and crunchy simultaneously. The garganelli with tuna and the grilled hanger steak in a wild mushroom sauce prompt you to replace the fork with a piece of bread, wiping the plate clean. Pizza di Parma has a crisp crust and is sprinkled with goat cheese and shreds of prosciutto, and drizzled with truffle oil. The cassatina Siciliana, a rum-soaked cake filled with ricotta and almond paste, is a celebration among other classic desserts.
