Agora is the rare hotel restaurant that transcends its surroundings. The dining room is plush and posh, dominated by a mural by local artist Coral Bourgeois, plus crystal, silver and spanking white linen as far as the eye can see. Couples gaze into each other's eyes in one corner and stockbrokers celebrate market upturns in another while sampling from a menu that emphasizes Rhode Island-grown products. The waitstaff is topnotch.
