Mideastern fare is ubiquitous and popular throughout the Detroit metropolitan area, and this is one of many modest but reliable spots serving all the favorites from shish kebab, shawarma, falafel, lamb chops and marinated chicken to leafy salads and raw vegetable juices churned to order at the counter. It is bright and airy, albeit unpretentious. The Al-Raushee plate, comprised of shish kebab, tawook, kafta, beef and chicken shawarma, grape leaves, kibbeh, falafel, hummus, baba ganouj and salad---whew!---is a tour of Lebanon on a plate. At $22.95, it will feed a table of four. Vegetarians can be very happy here with nearly as many choices as meat eaters.
