Alamo Square Seafood Grill Restaurant Review: This small neighborhood spot is a good place for a reasonably priced seafood dinner with a French twist. The menu centers on a mix-'n'-match selection of the fish of the day, sauces and cooking methods. As you would in the venerable Hayes Street Grill, you select one from each column to get a plate full of tasty seafood along with a panoply of wonderful side dishes. The sautéed chicken breast with a crispy coating is also good. The restaurant itself, though tiny, is stylish, sporting saffron walls with brick-colored highlights. |
