This small café exudes charm. Though not quite as alluring as the atmosphere, the food does have some memorable moments. The smoked Norwegian salmon plate with sour cream-dill sauce is one, and the salade nicoise is as authentic as you’ll find this side of Nice. Daily specials fare much better than printed menu items. There’s a great selection of made-on-the-premises cakes, tortes and other sweet treats and lots of liquid assets---beer, wine, coffee (the cappuccino is one of the best around), sparkling apple cider, Cognacs and so on.
