Aldario's Restaurant Restaurant Review: For five decades and counting, the Sante Faustini family has been in the business of fine Italian-American dining. White tablecloths, flowers, warm beige and pastel hues, and a sunny interior set a casually romantic yet family-friendly mood. Solicitous staff adds to the welcoming tone. Appetizers include some interesting twists on Italian standards that work surprisingly well, like fried calamari and shrimp with miso ginger sauce. Many of the other options adhere to traditional approaches, such as the hot antipasto with shrimp, clams, calamari and pasta. Entrées include classics such as the mussels puttanesca sautéed with tomatoes, capers, hot cherry peppers, olives and garlic over linguini. Italian regional and international wines are available.
