THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Alisa Cafe Restaurant Review: A 15-minute drive from Center City lands you in this gritty, track-encrusted neighborhood, where you will find the French-accented Thai cuisine of Tony Kanjankorn. Inside the little restaurant, crystal chandeliers twinkle and hurricane lamps glow against the white napery. The waiters are quietly solicitous. Suburbanites and city folk happily bring bottles of their best wine with which to sample Tony's angel hair pasta with prosciutto, mushrooms and cream, or a soup or salad of the day. Entrées may include crisp-skinned duck in a green peppercorn and red wine sauce, or sliced chicken breast with a curry cream, or preparations of fish, such as perfectly charred salmon. Desserts can be quite rich, what with pecan torte or chocolate Kahlua pie on the list.
