 All Star Sandwich Bar Restaurant Review: From beef on weck (roast beef on a kimmelweck bun), Reubens and Cubanos to an atomic hot sauce-infused meatloaf meltdown and a smoldering Latin lover salad with fire-roasted red peppers, this sandwich joint sizzles. There are simple items like hot dogs, burgers, tuna melts and a BLT, but those looking for something a bit untraditional come for the likes of a grilled falafel burger with tahini sauce, pressed muffuletta and the spicy "hell fries." All of the condiments and sides are homemade, including chips, chutneys, slaws and pickles. There's also fresh lemonade and a limited selection of beer and wine. |
