THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Alley's End Restaurant Review:
Living up to its name, this subterranean bistro is at the end of an alley and marked only by a neon knife and fork. Its funky ambience includes a glassed-in garden, hand-laid marble steps, and a crystal-shaped, stained glass window in the restroom. Inclined towards the eclectic and the innovative, chef Kevin Cahill serves steamed crab dumplings with spicy peanut sauce; herb-crusted, grilled salmon with couscous and lobster vinaigrette; and coconut-crusted mahi mahi with spicy litchi sauce and adjuki beans.
