THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED All'onda Restaurant Review:

The Venetian-accented All’onda, the lovechild of chef Chris Jaeckle, who logged time in the kitchen at Ai Fiori, and prolific restaurateur Jeffery Chodorow, is easy for diners to fall in love with. That’s because of the Japanese-like precision in which Jaeckle executes the dishes he sends out from the kitchen. In the bucatini, long thick pasta strands of Roman origin, uni, or sea urchin, is the star of the show, silk-like in its texture and extra briny in taste; when the egg is added, you get a special riff on carbonara, another Roman staple. Keep in mind that the restaurant has closed its dining room and offers a brief menu in the bar area downstairs. The wine list, naturally, mostly sticks to Italy with a number of surprisingly affordable options by the bottle and glass.
