Almond's Restaurant Review:
The sleekness of downtown Clayton melts away inside Almond’s. It’s just no match for the Southern hospitality of owners Tony and Kelli Almond, whose menu is full of no-nonsense dishes, including a topnotch pan-fried chicken, chicken and sausage gumbo and Cajun shrimp. All of the dinner entrées are priced under $20; that's quite a feat in this district. It helps that the staff is small and well-managed, something that’s particularly evident during lunch.
