The open-concept kitchen provides patrons with a visual feast prior to their first bite of food. White tablecloths, marble counters, low lights and white and persimmon walls lend a clean yet cozy vibe. A multi-course tasting menu may consist of the guest’s favourite dishes or ones chosen by the chef. Vegetable-stuffed eggplant with mustard yogurt sauce and traditional dishes of chana masala and dal makhani are just a few of the vegetarian choices on offer. Meat-eaters will delight in the parsi ribs braised in a black cumin curry or mutton served with inventive wasabi ice cream. Meanwhile, palates ignite over spiced or spicy dishes such as prawn coconut curry, butter chicken, and saffron chicken korma. House-made desserts might include garam masala truffles, surprisingly complemented by a ginger-lime-curry leaf martini. The restaurant is located behind Bread Bar on Yonge Street.
