This East Village spot hits the notes one looks for in a diner: it’s open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week; there’s an extensive selection of breakfast dishes available at all hours; and it offers plenty of fried fare, all at a limited cost. Try the mammoth french toast, frittatas, three egg omelets or the pancakes. The rest of the menu is an eclectic mix of ethnic-American food from kebabs to Italian specialties to wraps, panini and old-fashioned sandwiches. It’s straightforward diner grub with no airs, just big portions.
