 Debbie Gold is as passionate about designing intriguing, beautiful menus as she is about delivering impressive food to her loyal following. Luckily, she's at home in this sumptuous, glass-enclosed room that opens onto the Kansas City skyline. Seasonal yet often novel, Gold’s cooking reveals her skill in elevating dishes such as the buttery Campo Lindo chicken, or a deeply satisfying axis venison osso buco. Pay close attention to her entrée accompaniments: local succotash, candied cipollini or bourbon sweet potatoes. The wine list is extensive, and a select group of wines by the glass has a tie to Kansas City. White tablecloths, a hushed ambience and unhurried service enhance the experience.
