 Amici's East Coast Pizzeria Restaurant Review: Here's a pleasant Italian caffè setting for one of Marin’s most popular pizzerias. People pack in for the reliable East Coast-style thin-crust pies with a variety of straightforward toppings as well as unusual ones. Two sauceless pizzas are like particularly robust flatbreads: Siciliano covers a crisp crust with mozzarella, provolone, Italian sausage, broccoli, slow-roasted garlic and crushed red pepper; Milano combines mozzarella and provolone with Yukon Gold potatoes, bacon, slow roasted garlic and red pepper flakes. You’ll also find a surprisingly light lasagna and other pastas. Want to finish your pizza at home? You can get any pie half-baked to go. The salads are a notch above standard pizzeria fare, as are the desserts. |
