Andrea's Restaurant Review: Chef Andrea Apuzzo's light touch with seasonings reflects his dedication to allowing the full flavors of the food to dominate. His inventive fresh seafood dishes (try the speckled trout sautéed in olive oil and topped with lump crab meat) pepper the menu. Mediterranean influences range from the caprese salad to the veal scaloppine to the cioppino. For dessert, consider the Italian ice creams or authentic Sicilian cannoli filled with chocolate or vanilla ricotta cheese. The well-though-out wine list offers respectable international selections. On Sundays, premium wines by the bottle are half price. The charismatic Apuzzo is very much in charge of his kitchen, but makes frequent appearances in the cavernous dining rooms. Adjacent to the restaurant, the colorful, airy Capri Blu Bar with its piano bar is a good spot for after-dinner drinks (try the “Electric Lemonade”).
