Andre's Cuban Restaurant Restaurant Review: Cuban restaurants are few and far between in San Diego, but Andre’s has been serving Caribbean-style fried plantains, ropa vieja, picadillo and black beans and rice for more than 25 years. Located in an industrial district with little to no atmosphere, Andre’s success lies in its authentic food. Portions are large, prices are low and service comes with a smile.
