Andrew's offers good meat and seafood dishes, a winning wine list, friendly staff and a breathtaking view of the Fox River. But that’s not all: the cozy restaurant with its wood accents and comforting fireplace has an eclectic and sophisticated menu that should accommodate varied tastes. Try the signature lobster bisque before moving on to bacon-wrapped duck breast or Gorgonzola-stuffed shrimp balsamico. Linguine with a fresh basil pesto, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, toasted pine nuts and aged balsamic is a winner, too. Steaks are generally solid, as is the prosciutto-wrapped Alaskan halibut with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, sautéed organic greens and lemon beurre blanc. In warm weather, sit outside and sip a glass of wine while enjoying the elevated river view.
