The atmosphere feels particularly homey here as Angelino is family-run, led by chef-owner Pasquale Ancona and his wife Donna. Located in downtown Sausalito, it’s right across the street from San Francisco Bay, which adds to its charm. Signature dishes include house-made pappardelle with lamb ragù and shaved pecorino cheese; spicy orecchiette with sausage, broccoli rabe and pecorino cheese; and gossamer ravioli packed with seafood mousse. Many of the meats come from local vendors, such as the grass-fed beef and veal from Marin Sun Farms. Plenty of dishes change seasonally. Desserts, rich and full-flavored, are made with mostly organic ingredients and are created by the Anconas' daughter Tara.
