Dining room at Angelino Restaurant, Sausalito, CA

Angelino Restaurant Restaurant Review

: The atmosphere feels particularly homey here as Angelino is family-run. Chef Pasquale Ancona and his wife Donna opened the restaurant in 1983; Alfredo Ancona is now executive chef and owner, pastry chef is Tera Ancona and general manager is Teresa Ancona. Located in downtown Sausalito, it’s right across the street from San Francisco Bay, which adds to its charm. Signature dishes include house-made pappardelle with lamb ragù and shaved pecorino cheese; and gossamer ravioli packed with seafood mousse. Many of the meats come from local vendors, such as the grass-fed beef and veal from Marin Sun Farms. Plenty of dishes change seasonally. Desserts are rich and full-flavored. Huge windows overlooking the bay make for festive, scenic dining year-round.

Very bad service as well as over price on tiny food and wine(Small wine list pricing 4 times the retail!) will let you down.
