THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Angellino's Restaurant Review:
Tourists from Connecticut know this chain. Locals and non-Connecticut tourists have made it perennially popular for its Italian menu. It's a big deal in Florida, too, and we mean really big---as in portions. This is one of those restaurants where there are almost guaranteed to be leftovers. An always enjoyable appetizer is Calamari Cappers, squid simmered with capers and herbs in a fresh marinara sauce over linguine. The signature entrée is chicken Milanese---chicken breast dipped in fresh bread crumbs, then in Romano cheese and pan-fried in lemon butter and a white wine sauce, and served over cappellini. Also located at 13883 Walsingham Rd., Largo, 727-595-8382.
